We needn’t have looked further than St James’ Park on Sunday, where not one but two 4.0 priced players were on display, the only two players that saw minutes at this price point at the weekend. Ones to Watch: Rob Elliot and Chancel Mbemba First up is Newcastle goalkeeper Rob Elliot, who appears to be first choice, at least until the transfer window closes. Elliot has a wealth of International experience with the Republic of Ireland and also has Premier League priors with Newcastle, playing 1890 minutes in the 2015/16 season.. Following injuries in defence to both Florian Lejeune and Paul Dummett, Rafa Benítez called upon Chancel Mbemba to play 56 minutes for the Magpies. With both Lejeune and Dummett expected to be out of commission for a number of weeks, its a strong possibility that Mbemba will keep his place short term and be strong contender to come off the bench in future games if he loses his place. Like Elliot, Mbemba has Premier League experience, having played 2923 minutes in the 2015/16 season in which Newcastle were relegated. Prior to the Julian Speroni was tipped to feature for Crystal Palace however Wayne Hennessy played and conceded 3 against Huddersfield. This result is a positive for Speroni owners, if you own him we suggest sit tight, as things may turn out positively if he gains a starting berth should Hennessy continue to concede.
