Fantasy Premier League Cheap Starters 4.5 Attackers

Following on from our analysis of the entry level Goalkeeper and Defender options at 4.0 we’ll now be looking at the cheapest possible players that you can get in Midfield and Up Front that featured in Gameweek one.

The entry price for midfielders is set at 4.5

There were a number of options at this price point but the players that we have on our watchlist are Swansea’s Tom Carroll and Crystal Palace’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Tom Carrol  played 90 minutes for Swansea against Southampton last Saturday and could well be on more set pieces nbow that Sigurdsson has transferred to Everton.

Loftus-Cheek had an excellent debut for Palace, who he has joined on loan from Chelsea, on a individual level despite his new team losing 3-0 to Huddersfield.

The injury to Wilfried Zaha may prove beneficial to Lotus-Cheek in the weeks ahead with the clear focal attacking point of the midfield missing.

Jack Cork of Burnley, provided an assist in their win against Chelsea and is a another player assured of gametime.

Gareth Barry has joined West Brom this week as he closes in on the all time appearance record in the Premier League and will provide solidity in Pulis’ midfield following the departure of Darren Fletcher to Stoke.

Matty James made a long awaited return to the Leicester first team against Arsenal, where Mohamed Enemy assisted a goal in the game for the Gunners. But don’t count on the latter keeping his place.

Other options sure to see gametime are:

  • Oriol Romeu (Southampton)
  • Philip Billing (Huddersfeild)
  • Leon Britton (Swansea)
  • Andrew Surman (Bournemouth)
  • Nathaniel Chalobah (Watford)

There are 3 strikers available at 4.5 for the more frugal manager:

Collin Quaner (Huddersfield) who contributed an assist in 18 minutes against Palace.

Oliver McBurnie (Swansea) who played 4 minutes against southampton

Olayinka Ladapo (Crystal Palace) who didn’t play.
