Quick Guide To Getting Started In Fantasy Premier League Miguel Perez Fantasy Premier League Here is a quick guide for all you need to do to get your season started in The Fantasy Premier League Joining The Game: Follow this link to join the game: Sign Up! Whether you are a returning player or first time fantasy football manager you will be greeted with this sign in/register page. Here you can use your email or social media accounts to join the game. Upon joining the game you will then be faced with a squad selection page. To begin joining public leagues or private leagues with your friends you first need to select a squad of 15 players with a transfer budget of 100.00. The following restrictions apply. Your squad of 15 must include; 2 Goalkeepers, 5 Defenders, 5 Midfielders and 3 Strikers, with a maximum of 3 players from any one club. From these 15 players managers will select a starting 11 each gameweek. Acceptable formations are; 5-3-2, 5-4-1, 5-2-3, 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-4-3, 3-5-2 and 4-5-1. This means you must play a minimum of 3 defenders and one striker each gameweek. How to divide your budget between different positions is completely up to the manager, but it is advisable to have a blend of expensive point winners and cheap bench fodder to assemble a strong team. How strong (or expensive) your bench fodder/squad players also needs to be considered, as if a player is injured or doesn’t play, automatic substitutions will come in for any absentees. Once you have your squad of 15 players selected you are then ready to enter the game. See the help page of the Fantasy Premier League Site for full rules and information: See More!
