Barcelona continued their 100% start to the La Liga season in style on Sunday evening with a 5-0 thrashing of completely hapless Levante. Barcelona haven’t conceded a goal yet this season, and have swept all before them with relative ease.

First Neymar used his pace to sweep in behind the creaking Levante defence, and thread the opener home.

Then Rakatic latched on to a loose ball just before half time and did this.

What a sneakily good signing Rakatic is. We should also mention we tipped up Barce ht/ft in our weekly La Liga prevew;

Buried at the foot of the table, Levante are not going to trouble Barcelona. Not with Neymar back, and banging in goals too. Levante aren’t scoring either, so 1 or 2 in the first half for Barce should crush their lowly hosts spirits.

Messi has been laying on the goals this season and he made a lovely, deft pass for Pedro to grab the 3rd.

Barcelona’s 4th was a lovely team goal with Sandro slashing home from a great cut back by Pedro.

Finally, to wrap the scoring up, Messi added in a dash of Messi to the proceedings

With a 100 percent record after four games, Barca already have a six-point advantage on rivals Real Madrid, with defending champions Atletico Madrid also four points off the top. Imagine, Barcelona are going to be adding Luis Suarez to this already incredibly talented lineup come October and El Classico. The sky is literally the limit for the Catalan club.
